SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: ABC ERROR

ABC ERROR
Is there an average mileage or age when the ABC starts acting up? My car 2004 with 38k miles has the ABC error light ocassionally, no sagging just higher height, rougher ride and pulls to the right very firmly, however when the error goes away on it's own then no more pulling to the right and smoother ride. What's causing it and solution?

if there's anything anyone can learn when buying a merc with ABC is if there's an error no matter what GET IT LOOKED at asafp, specially if you can tell its acting up. one of my struts decided to drop a few inches,no errors or anything, took it to shop next day. granted im still waiting on it lol
but of course any usual signs, leaking on ground, around the pump ect

Yup... get it looked at ASAFP!
I have 2003 SL55 & at about 50,000 my pump went, happened while I was driving & scared the ***** out of me! The worst thing about these cars is the ABC only because of the cost of repair... I don't have the figures in front of me but it was north of $5,000 @ stealership for new pump & new front hoses.
