NEED HELP RE: SL65 REAR SPOILER AND FRONT LIP
Hello All.
Relatively new here. Just picked up 2005 SL65 black/charcoal. Looking to add the rear spoiler on trunk. Doesn't need to be OEM, etc. Just going for the look.
Bigger question is the front lip. I've seen several on the SL55's, but not the SL65s. I like the lip because I believe it gives the car a more aggressive look with the longer lines (combination of front lip and rear spoiler).
Any ideas? I came across this on Ebay. Anyone have experience? Other recs?

Thanks, Jason

I bought in Taiwan via eBay ..... I haven't mounted them yet and fitments by the look of it is not perfect but sure it will turn out ok ........ considering the price versus original AMG, then I'm, satisfied ..... also the front lip can/will have a short life! ......
Between the manufacturers there I went for3amotor
Customer service is a 100% and they answer any question within hours .....
Delivery time from them to me on from the other side of the earth - 3½ day! DHL - Bravo

Look at the following web site: www.ForMyMercedes.com
I got both of mine through Jerry for my SL55... the font lip fits like a glove, the rear spoiler isn't a perfect fit but isn't bad.

THANKS FOR FEEDBACK
Thanks a lot for the feedback. RE: the rear spoiler, I went with one from Ebay that was painted black for $115. It may not be exactly perfect, but it doesn't seem like manufacturing a relatively straight piece of ABS plastic takes rocket science. I'm sure it will be fine.
RE: the front spoiler lip, that's much more complicated. You confirmed what I suspected. It look like that MyMercedes.com site spent a lot of time in R&D for that front lip. It follows the lines of the SL65 front valance purposely. I didn't really want to spend that much on such a small piece, but I really think the fitment and finish look top notch. I'll probably bite the bullet in the next few days.
Thanks again. Enjoy your rides.
