Smart Top Fail (outtakes from my smart top video)
I thought some of you might get a laugh out of my frustration while trying to shoot a brief video of my smart top operation. I thought my anger in the outtakes was fairly entertaining.

Pretty funny. I too have experienced expletive inducing frustrations with SmartTop, usually while trying to be cool opening the top as I walk up to the car, only to find the reason it didn't open is because I left the damn trunk partition open.
Generally it works like a charm and is a great mod.
Are you sure it was just your battery? The user manual for mine says this:
Tap UNLOCK on the remote 3x (in 1 sec intervals) to open the roof.
Tap UNLOCK on the remote 4x (in 1 sec intervals) to open the roof and leave windows up.
Tap LOCK on the remote 3x (in 1 sec intervals) to close roof and windows.
Note the "in 1 sec intervals", which is usually the other reason it doesn't do what I expected - I'm tapping the button too fast.
