Anyone know where I can pick up a BS style hood for my ride? I have found a pre-facelift body kit that has one in it but I do not want the entire kit... I only want the hood!

I'm looking for something which will take the heat out of the engine room since one of my friends who do track race says the only right way to go is to get the heat out of there......

I have been thinking of modifying a standard hood - didn't know you could buy a finish one ....... Are those outtakes real or just dummy's?

I am finding that you can't buy it... the only way this mfg will sell it to you is if you buy their entire kit & I don't want the kit I just want the freaking hood! I am not sure if they are real or not BUT I wouldn't want it if they aren't functional & I want this style for the same reason you do... to let her breathe

Maybe we can get someone to make them for a group buy??? Otherwise I am heading down the same path of modifying my stock hood I guess

I've talked to them a couple months ago about selling me just the hood only too and they wouldn't do it.

Thanks. I have emailed them... if it is a 50 lbs piece of fiberglass then I will continue down the path of modifying an OEM hood. But it looks like they will do what I want.

modifying is easy~ just like back in the days, people put z3 vents on civic and integra.....
im sure it's cheaper this way too, buy a used sl hood(cheap) mod it(cheap and easy), DONE!
