SL65 no crank and other probs....
Here we go.........
Tried to start the SL today and it would not crank.....full dash lights, radio, windows, trunk release...it all works! Batteries fully charged.....
Also two other probs - ABC and ESP display that there is a problem. I know this could be due to the fact that I cannot get the engine running and I have been chasing power supplies, relays and fuses - so far can I find nothing.......sitting here at work all night so bounce some ideas out here before I have it towed and I'll look at those tomorrow.
Thanks guys!

Are you in park? is your brake pedal working (lights in the back when depressed?
Move around the battery terminal connections under the hood. you might not be making good contact but the low power consumers (lights, windows) still would work.
Also If you can knock with something on the starter- it might be the starter anvil gone bad and you might be able to dislodge it.
Beyond that- nothing you can do at a parking lot. Maybe get a multimeter and run over all fuses hoping to find a blown one. If you have blown the engine mgmt fuse there is a good chance your coil voltage regulator is fried and you need a new one. This will be confirmed by you installing a new fuse and blowing it immediately.
And you are correct- abs lights are on because you can't start motor. That is normal.

alx,
Yep, it is in park, even tried it in neutral, brake lights working. Checked all fuses that I know of, even pulled the subwoofer out to check connections behind there. Starter relay coil ohms good, gonna try to manually activate it tomorrow......
Drove the car 200 miles yesterday and parked it in the shop (at least that is good) and went to start it to go flog on it a bit and bleh.....nothing.
I will be sure to double check the engine management fuse also...thanks!
