Hey guys, I was racing yesterday for quit awhile then my car suddenly won't accelerate, i hit the gas pedal no response but the engine is still on. I pulled over turned off the car and turned it back on everything is fine. Some people say it's the tune some says it's heat soak but I changed my ic pump already. Please let me know if you know anything. Thank you

Check for air caught in the IC circuit. I drove my SL65 for wayyy too long wondering why she felt like a beast in the moning and a turd in the afternoon. I had upgraded to the Bosch '010' IC pump and apparently got an air pocket in there. Sometimes it would wedge itself into a position where no fluid would circulate, other time the car felt 'normal' enough that I thought it must just be me. Dealership drained and filled with its IC evcuation system and found the pocket of air. Car is now and absolute beast.

I had the same thing happen yesterday. I wonder if yours is going into limp mode for some reason. Does the car go back to normal after it cools? Mine was something as simple as the rubber gasket from the airtube must have not been on right, and got sucked into the throttle body half way which held the flap open.

I know that is likely not your problem, but the limp mode was the same for me. I press the pedal, and nothing at all happens. I actually went to Autozon and bought an OBDII reader for 90 bucks. Worth every penny imo...
