MB UK says that AMG will not remove the speed limiter [at all] on vehicles with speedo's in MPH as AMG have only made a speedo that reads up to 160mph.
I have no idea why they do that, its the same on my CLK55, speedo up to 160mph, whereas the AMG speedos for the same vehicles go up to 300kmh
