Has anyone convereted a SL55 to SL63 rear bumper with parktronic

Ok so I did the conversion and my body shop can't get the sensors to work. The SL55 sensors do not fit the the SL63 bumper so I upgraded to the new sensors. Any help would be appreciated before I take the car to the dealer....

yes, I did it. you use the old sensor in the new bumper.
The old sensor is the same as new one, but w/out the plastic ring. you remove the donut plastic ring and the sensor head is the exact size as the new hole.

the new sensor is not compatible with the old wiring harness. you have to use the same sensor as in the car now.
remove the black mount holders from the new bumper, cut away all the plastic untill they are just a round flat ring like on the left side pic.
then epoxy your old sensor into it. you have to be precise to make it fit right. then re glue the black ring and sensor back on the bumper.

I will just say use the right glue.

I had two pop out in heat after bender. Use the correct MB glue cured in 24 hours. Pain in the *** but worth it.
