Currently shopping for an SL55 and have been reading a lot of the older threads trying to find the differences between the '03, '04 & '05 model years. Obviously the Nav changed in '05 but were there any significant improvements from year to year in the motor, trans, etc.?
Primarily trying to figure out if the cost difference from year to year is really worth it on what would be equally equipped and mileage cars? Current budget restricts going any newer as I have to factor in a warranty and mods that I would want to do.
All other things being equal, would you buy an '03 with 25k miles or an '05 with 50k miles?

SL550 has 7 speed Automatic
SL63 has 7 speed MCT
Small-Dick SL350 doesn't exist in USA, and that's a great Fact.

Are you sure about that? I've seen one on a number of occasions marked with SL350. Mars Red with Stone interior. Owner is a good looking 50 something blonde.Originally Posted by DCMETRO22Z
