Hi Everyone!

I was hoping someone can help me find the correct floor mat part number?

I've been looking everywhere and even the parts person at my dealer wasn't sure. I have a 2005 SL55 and am looking for standard Black OEM AMG floor mats with these little round connectors.

I just want to make sure that it matches my current interior.

Thanks everybody!

It looks like this:

Come to think of it. The mats don't really match the interior. Are they supposed to be choral? Any advice on the OEM mat that was supposed to come with the car would be greatly appreciated.

look at page 10 of this PDF ... I believe "snap clip" is the style you want

http://www.w-124.info/w124/Mercedes_floor_mats.pdf

if you can no longer get the mats with the plastic snap installed, I can get you the part number for the clips (so you can add them to standard mats)

Cheers,
Chris

if you are considering other colors, this vendor on EBAY has new-old-stock OEM mats that are priced well ( I have bought 2 sets from him in the past).

I dont think you can get charcoal from MB just black. you are better off to find the right color from a aftermarket maker and have them embroderied like you want. try usspeed.com or ebay

@latemodel21 - I did find that PDF while searching on the forum. But I was confused as for which one I actually needed. Thank you for confirming that it's the "snap clip"!

@okbarnett - I just checked usspeed.com and they don't seem to accessories for the SL class?

I would recommend that you verify that these are, in fact, intended for cars that have the plastic nubbins in the carpet (like you have). I ran into this issue before where the mats showed up with the other style of clips.

additionally, I would become familiar with http://www.mymercedesparts.com/ and oediscountparts.com

Parts.com is handy , but they add 15% to EVERY order for shipping while http://www.mymercedesparts.com/ uses the EXACT same price sheet and only charges 7% for shipping.

oediscountparts.com usually ends up being the best deal, however. Their price sheet is about 2% higher, but they charge NO SHIPPING for orders over $50. I buy A LOT of parts from them and MIKE and TRACY are generally available to answer questions over the phone.

Cheers,
Chris
