brake fluid purge - '03 SL55 AMG
Recently bought an '03 SL55 AMG with 47K miles on the car. I want to purge the brake fluid soon, as I'll take it to the track for a couple of days in early October. I have not yet found a good procedure for doing this with or without the supplementary brake system connected or disconnected!
Looking for anyone who has done this, and the best procedure. I have always used Castrol GT LMA fluid in my Benzes and Porsches for street use (this will be a one time track trip - closing out 12 years of driving a Porsche that I sold a few weeks ago). Is that OK, or do I need to get a couple of liters from my local Benz dealer?
Thanks for your help.

Shardul,
Thank you - don't recognize the 'DAS'. I have a power bleeder I've always used for bleeding/purging. Is that usable?

I have done the brake fluid change on my 04 SL55 several times using a vacuum bleeder at the calipers. This worked quite well and there is no need to fool with the SBC unit. The change was no different than any other car.
