HElp! On my '03, When taking off from a stop, the right rear shock will suddenly extend, then go back down to normal height. Scares the hec out of me sometimes, because I never know when it will happen. Feels like I've ran over something. My mechanic cant find any codes. It has done it while backing out of my garage too. Sometimes I swear it feels like its doing a "mild" rodeo while driving slow too...anyone ever experince this? Could it be the plunger sensor in the shock, or maybe the ride hight control sensor on the control arm? If so wouldn't it throw a code? Any ideas?
Thanks

You could access the plunger sensors through the trunk and swap left to right to test?
shouldn't take long.
Make sure to catch the clips.. else they'll fly off and will be hard to find.
That might narrow it down.

Cheers and let us know your results!

Your accelerometer on that side might be going bad.

If not that your valve block might be binding internally.
