03 SL55 Brake, Pads, and Rotor help!
I need pads and rotors for my baby, anyone know of any good suppliers? Cannot justify over $1000 in parts when I'll be doing the work myself.

For pads I used Akebono from Rockauto (dot) com.
Fronts: EUR983 - $124.79
Rear: EUR984 - $96.79
I strongly recommend these pads. They are silent so squeaks AT ALL and produce no discernible brake dust at all! Performance is equal to the original pads that were on my car (those were INCREDIBLY dusty).

Definitely try the Akebono pads. Nice not having to wash brake dust off the wheels everytime you move the car 10 feet in the driveway.

I have Akebono's on my SL55, but have EBC 'red stuff' on the Audi A8 and the Porsche 928 GTS. I REALLY like the EBC's. Excellent feel, great stopping, and no more dust than the Akebono's. when I replace the almost new Akebono's, I'm sure I'll get the 'Red Stuff' pads.
Best price I found for them is: KSPECRacing.com They do not stock them, but drop ship them. I have an on line catalog for EBC, so can give you their part numbers, as there is some confusion about the right part numbers on some web sites.
