Vario Roof hydraulic pump
Hi,

My SL55 is currently on the workshop. I was having problems with my vario roof top. The technician first found a hydraulic shock that was leaking and it was replaced. Now he says that the pump starts but suddenly fails.

I found on the internet a website called www.tophydraulicsinc.com which they receive my damaged pump and they rebuild it completely for $600.00. MB local dealer charges around $3,000.00 without labor.

The question is, Have any of you heard and tried this rebuild service or do anyone have another place that can repair my pump.
