SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Extended Warranty

I have a 2009 SL63 which I bought as a CPO last year. My warranty expires in June 2014. The car has 36,000 miles on it. I will be driving the car about 2000-3000 miles a year. The car has been properly maintained and the service requirements have been performed and no issues have been identified.
I just got a quote from an MB Dealer for 6 years/60,000 miles for $8794 with a $250 deductible. The warranty company is Century/Fidelity. The warranty is the Premium Care program which is like a new car warranty and covers everything except for wear and tear items.
I have read that 2 major issues with the R230 ABC and the Vario Roof. I have also read that most of the ABC issues relates to the 2003-2007 model years (I maybe wrong on this). From what I read MB changed some on the parts in the ABC system to make more reliable starting in 2008. The Vario Roof seems like a hit or miss. If it goes wrong it could be expensive but not too many people are reporting issues on it.
So the question is should I buy it or not given the amount of mileage I plan on doing. Should I pass on it, making sure I religiously maintain the ABC fluid/filter?
Appreciate and thanks for your input.

after the MB cpo is over I wouldnt buy any other aftermarket because they dont want to pay for any repairs and cost way too much, your better off taking your chances

When I bought the car it still had a few months left of the original warranty and then CPO warranty kicked in. The CPO warranty will expire at the end of June 2014.
Thanks for your input.

I would bet my left nut that you will incur AT LEAST $1,500 a year in repairs on your SL63 making this an excellent buy.
I will NEVER own another high end car without a warranty. It takes away all the fear. "What if I blow the engine?" "What if my hard driving makes the tranny fail?" etc.
It also makes the shop trips enjoyable. Crusie around in a new C class or GLK SUV while your car is in the shop and you HOPE they find major stuff wrong with it so you get brand new parts...all for a measly $250.00
Make sure it's the Fidelity platinum and then pony up the $9k.
The warranty should be fully transferable which makes selling the car easier. Anyone in the know will realize that the car has been well maintained and they will be willing to pay a premium.
