R1 Concepts 2-Piece Rotors?
Hey guys, we're thinking about designing our own 2-piece rotors to fit on these AMG cars but not sure just yet..My question to you all is are you willing to purchase 2 piece rotors if we were to design these for the SL55, SL63, and SL65 AMG? Please let me know! It would be best if everyone could reply back with a yes, thumbs up, or like each person does a count down from 1-?? if you know what I mean. Hope to see what you guy think!

I understand what you mean. The thing is we only sell 1 piece rotors and are thinking about selling 2 piece rotors as well which is why I wanted to ask the users here on the forum if they would be interested. We have chosen to use the C63 AMG since the front rotors are compatible with a lot of the other AMG cars. If we decide to make rotors for the SL55, SL63, and SL65 AMG, I'll let you know.

Most people want the two peice rotors to save a ton of weight on thier rotor change but the traditional 2K price has not been conducive for MFG to invest time in and end user to pay for. In other words, at 2K+ a set, they move real slow for the MFG.

LOL! I emailed you guys a couple of weeks ago about this. Ended up just having mine turned, but they are getting thin. Maybe a profitable solution would be to just offer replacement rings for our hats. No competition for stock ring replacement as of this date.
