Not sure if this is any news anywhere else, but it is the big talk here at home. There was a pretty nasty storm that rolled through our area the other day, and in a matter of seconds, millions of dollars in damage was caused to cars, homes, and buildings. They even had a plow truck dispatched to clear some of the roads. I just took a drive over to the local Benz dealer, and it was quite a sight. Virtually every car has a new golf ball faux finish. Nothing spared. I forgot to bring my camera, but there are plenty of videos and pictures online. I don't know anyone around here who doesn't have damage or know of someone close to them without. Crazy..you can't drive more than a few minutes without seeing smashed windshields and peened cars.

I this is more of a General type post, but I mainly check out this forum. I might head back over and take some pix of the couple AMG's they have.

They don't have prices yet and I don't know how deep the discounts will be, but I would sure like a new work car. I actually read about this, and there a couple of people who say that the dealerships make out pretty good in situations like this, as they don't discount enough to really cut their profits..after the insurance..but people think they're getting a good deal.

sad,, but maybe for a buyer that see some hail damage as no big deal to fix, is good deals to be made.. what the benz dealer will do ?
