In your profile your car is SL63 which is R231 not R230. Cant help with the tyres as never been on a drag strip with my car.

there are R230 SL63s, from 2002-2012 no matter what numbers goes after the SL it's all R230.

I will say 18 inch wheels, lighter the better and any drag radials tires will do. you can get them online or local from any tire shop.

18x10 enkie rpf1 5x114.3 redrilled to 5x112, 18x8.5 front. These wheels weigh less than 18 lbs each and are very affordable. Best rear tire IMO 305/35/18 Mickey Thompson et street II. I run this set up on the street and track. I run toyo r888 tires 305/35/18 which run wider (more like a 315) than the mt but does not rub. (slammed) The toyos are great on the street for handling and traction but the MT are hands down the superior tire for traction as they do not have a reinforced sidewall. The side effect of the non reinforced sidewall is sloppy handeling at highway speed on the street. If your buying rear wheels only for 1/4 mile drags than I would look into a set of 16 or 17" wheels. 16" will fit over the rear caliper on my sl55 but I think your rear caliper sl63 is larger and may only except a 17" wheel.
