Looks fun. SL should be capable enough.
Can't believe anyone brought an F10 M5 for autocross though. Could they have brought a worse car? Tracked mine once. Terrible. Way too big and heavy. Comfy going around the track though. That's good...I guess.

SL is fine and holds it own for the most part, SLS was more at home and two modded C63's had a f'ing ball messing with just about everyone.

Just a suggestion - if you enjoyed the autocross at Pocono, do yourself and your car a real favor, and sign up for one of the many events at Watkins Glen. A REAL road track where you can use the performance the car has 'at speed' (probably up to about 130 mph on the back stretch in the early learning period, I believe up to about 150+ after some experience). I drove that track for 10 years with my Porsche 928 S4 before selling it (and retiring from track driving), then buying the Sl55. The Sl55 was just tooooo tempting, so I took it back to the Glen for another 2 days of driving. WOOOHOOO - great fun. BUT - get 'track' brake pads for the car, as I went completely through a new set of high performance street pads in a day and a half!!
Watkins Glen, Virginia Int'l, Road America, etc. (the fairly long tracks at 3+ miles per lap) are the ones the SL55 is designed for!!
Cheers, and contact me if you want any further information.
