I'm still on the fence about lowering my 55. How's the ride difference?

Here's mine... 2" drop on a Programa lowering module. Just for show though as I normally drive with a 1" drop, fully adjustable via a remote control

This is the generic older module Renntech bought it then rebranded it their own for 3x price, I bought mine 6 wks ago still waiting to install (had boost leak & IC leak that required prioity) your full 2" drop looks LEGIT

I 1st used the adusted links, inmop they ruin the ride period & NEVER get near the perfect 2" drop look when just sitting, or awesome ease of adjustibilty w/remote making slight adjustments to ea wheel to get as near perfect even drop as humanly possible.

If you push the links to anything over an 3/4" in rear it ruins the mechanical geometry & full HOOPTY bounce/squeek is sure to follow as it bottoms out on any subtle pothole etc

Summation links are absolute krap & over time stress all suspension to breaking points..

SL 55 and a GT 3000 vr4 Here's my car: http://home.online.no/~ludvs/index.cfm
Looking absolutely gorgeous, hope you'll get a nice summer in England so you can drive alot!
I've never heard the 12 sylinder engine up close and personal, I have to get me to an mercedes meeting soon.

I reckon you do like me and raise it to the middle when you're driving so you get a comfortable ride?

I have the same unit and love it. I have it programmed for the full drop when stopped and at lower speeds and then back to normal ride height when going faster. It is the best of both worlds, I get the dropped look when I want it without the crap ride at higher speeds. No need for a special alignment with it either.

Programa has this unit for sale on their website for $600.

Well guys I must admit the ride is a little more jigady but the price to
supply and fit them was only a couple of hundred quid, so I will change
them for a module when funds allow, I want a decent module which I
think cost well over a grand. Meanwhile I can't take my eyes of her, it's
like having an affair, she is absolutely gorgeous. I could just look at her
all day, with that magic badge V12 BiTurbo
It took a long time searching for the Holy Grail

BUT I THINK I FOUND IT.
