Putting larger wheels and lowering the R230 really brings out the shape.
For instance the wheel arches look more flared to me, and the back of
the car is fat and chunkier looking, I think when wheels come out to the
edge of the body it gives the affect of having more flair helped by lowering.
Wish I had done it to my SL55 10 years ago.
It's the best modification money can buy and I highly recommend it.
Lowering has the tendency to make the stance look more aggressive and also makes wheels look bigger. Check out my stock 18s, the type that most people do not like. They look more like 19s with the drop.
