True, but V12 65s still hanging in there pretty good among the other SL class, especially his being V12, rare color combo, somewhat low mileage and RENNtech nice combo. Plus was like new when I saw it. Good to pay a little extre. I was real tempted as I prefer show car buys, but needed to focus on a Murci. However that place is like a candy store, and I want almost everything whenever I walk in there.
Here are some nice shots when I was following it at Harris-Connor before Eurocar got it...as you can see nice car: http://harrisconnor.com/portfolio/20...ld-automotive/

Yes, they should and do get a premium over the standard SL. I've just seen the ones that actually sell go for stupid low pricing given the cars combination of beauty and speed. The depreciation on the SL is shocking. Obviously, Aeroman has a pristine example and I hope it would fetch a higher than average market price. Low mileage, rare color combo, and designo make it worth more than the average SL65.
I should put mine on the market.

My earlier price comment was based off 2005 to 2006 models since you didn't specify the year. I didn't realize you had a 2007 until another poster linked pictures of your car. Based on a 2007 with your.mileage and rarity, if you got it below $50K it was a good.deal.

BTW - Local stealer just sold a 2006 with 40K on it for 64K.

Southeast market is totally different. No salt on the roads here either. You are hard pressed to get anywhere near those prices. South Florida market is huge. Everyone wants the newest model. Used high end cars drop like a rock off a cliff after a few years and even worse when there's a redesign.

I looked into the maintenance. It does not seem to be much higher than my E63 was. I figure it will cost me 1500-2000 per year to drive it. That is not a lot of money to drive a car that at one time cost someone north of $250K to drive off the lot. Before anyone calls foul I am including tax, license, gas guzzler, luxary and misc other fees. Car had a $204K sticker before all of that. Then they had the DEALER put on other options.
I have a bumper to bumper warranty that only excludes brakes. 4 year 48K.

There's no question a V12TT or a 55 are a blast to drive, I think it's a matter of personal preference. I'm putting a 3000 stall converter in mine tomorrow or Friday, whenever the parts get here. I'm curious as to the difference it makes.
