thinking to buy '06 SL55 K8 Brabus
hello everyone
i came across beautiful SL 55 2006 model, fitted with K8 brabus kit, showroom condition and low miles.
what do you think of the purchase, i always loved to own an SL ( used to have SL500 once ), i'm bit worried about the ABC system failures etc
any other worries i should worry about?

On the 'other' Mercedes Forum, there is a thorough discussion of the ABC system, and the maintenance it requires. It is in the SL55 Forum section, and is a 'sticky', titled ABC Intelligence etc. It should be mandatory reading for anyone with, or considering getting a car with ABC suspension.

I have a Brabus kit on mine and I love it. ABC is something to be aware of but not something that is necessarily a deal breaker. Any records on the car, is it local? If so, get a PPI. Doesn't guarantee anything but at least it will let you know up front if there are leaks, etc.
