Current highest horse power sl55
Was at the wanna gofast couple weekends ago and saw several wiestec e55's. Gotta say wasn't real impressed with the speeds these cars hitting in the half mile. Could be mistaken but I believe I was told these cars were in the 700 hp range
I had planned to do some power upgrades at the end of the year but after watching those cars gotta say I'm feeling underwhelmed. Think the fastest I saw was 139 in the half mile. With most of them in the mid 130's.
Course the ug gallardo hitting 219 didn't help. But even some of the mildly built vettes were in the high 140's.
Anyone know who has the highest hp build for an sl55. Also who has the fastest sl55.

Can you clarify? Did you see the Weistecs running in the 130s or just standard SL55s? I'm going to assume the latter as I believe thats about right for stock.
Craig, who attended the event in his Weistec E55 hit 155, that was Weistec plus nos. Something tells me he will be in the 160s soon. I don't doubt the SL55 could do about the same, given the same mods. I know your gearing is a bit shorter but not sure exactly how that would affect your run. What are your goals for the event?

chawkins Weiestec E55 went 150 at that event.
What are your goals for the event?
Also curious just how far people on here have taken their sl55's in terms of HP.
