On the hunt!

I am looking for an SL55 and noticed most of them have the contour option in the seat but no dynamic button. I have been searching and have no definite answer. Was it offered for the R230?

My E55 & S55 have it and I am in love with this option

The seat bolsters grab you as you turn. So if your turning fast your not going anywhere!

Hmm, yea I don't think that was available. I haven't noticed it at least.

Dynamic seats were available on 55's. My 07 has them, startled me the first time the seat grabbed me.

Does your vehicle have a dynamic button in the seat, or is it integrated within the instrument cluster?

I assume it's in the cluster, I've never looked. It does grab you if you go into a corner hard enough.

The seats on my '03 SL55 are not 'dynamic' in the way you describe. but the bolsters are adjustable to MY preference any time I'm driving. I can bring them in - to become sport seats - or put them wider to be comfort type seats. I'm pretty sure I'd rather be in charge of the type seat I want, depending on the type of driving I'm doing.

I am aware of the adjusting feature. My E55 can adjust as I am driving to my preference as well but I can turn the dynamic feature on and off. My thought is if the feature was offered and there is no button then it would be integrated within the instrument cluster.

I am looking for an 03-05 SL55 so I don't want to keep holding out for feature that might not even be offered

You will be looking for a long time as it wasn't an option on the earlier cars.

Two questions for IngenereAMG: On the later SL55 years was dynamic offered? If it was is there a button in the seat or is it within the instrument cluster?
