IC pump change - no need for bleeding?

Hi all,

I`ve been searching for info whether SL55 intercooler circuit needs to be bled or if it is a self-bleeding system.

I`d be grateful for any input

You need to bleed the system on these cars. That's the only way to get any air bubbles out. Esp since your swapping pumps

Got my hands on WIS/ASRA.
The procedure is very simple, unlike on the M275s.
Takes 2 minutes or so.

1. open coolant reservoir. make sure level is right.
2. use something to clip the red hose a bit lower than the connection to the yellow line
3. take off the yellow hose where it connects to the red one
4. connect an extended hose to that very place and direct it to the reservoir
5. switch on the pump using Star for 2 minutes

That`s it

Not sure that I`m good at explaining such stuff, though.
