Location of suspension module
Even though this is for a R231 SL, it should be very similar...
I am trying to install a Renntech V3 lowering module and the documentation from Renntech is somewhat poor.
They say the suspension module that the LM needs to be wired into is on the driver side rather than on the easily accessible passenger footwell. Can anyone confirm?
It's a one-liner in their manual, but I am having a difficult time to even remove lower plastic cover as the hood release is part of it (R231).
Does anyone have access to Mercedes tech info so I can look at how to get to the module?

I just removed mine. I have attached what was sent me by Renntech. I did have to undo the 3 screws to lower the under dash panel but it was easy and not part of hood release.
Its hard to see it. I would not want to be the one installing it.

The SL seem harder. Unlike the R230 (yours), the R231 has the hood lever as part of that under dash panel and I simply can't remove that due to the hood release cable.
Btw. that pic you sent with the R231 shows only the fusebox location. Thanks for your reply though.
