Just picked up my 65, new secondary air pump, yippee back to normal,
blew away a Caymen on the way home.
In the showroom was a new 63 , grey with cream leather. The leather was
really hard and slightly rough, no match to my excusive nappa, in fact
if I had the choice I would keep my 65,

The Merc guy said we don't see many SL65 , especially in the condition of
yours, so we parked it by the entrance, and it has had a lot of people looking
and 1 or 2 asked how much it was, but they cant have it.. it's MINE

I'm also still amazed at the looks you get from my 11 year old 55. It's got the Brabus widebody kit on it and I think it looks great. I'm just surprised that no one else sees it as an 11 year old car.
That's because the design is not going to be surpassed, it will definitely gonna be a classic, the design is just gorgeous. 
Just keep it and enjoy it, life's too short to drive ugly cars.
