I am asking for help to see if I have a problem with the retractable roof operation. When you use the console switch to close the top, do all the windows close?

The dealer says that in 2009 MB changed the program, so that when you close the top using the console switch the windows remain open. In prior model years the windows would also close.

However, if you use the remote to close the top, the all the windows would also close.

PLEASE help a forum member.

On my 2008, closing the top also closes all four windows. When using the remote, same.

Apparently, this was changed in 2009. This is what the dealer is telling me. I just to confirm that what they told me is correct. I went there to have it fixed and they said it is normal for 2009 model year.

It is odd that MB would change the program for 2009.

11 the windows dont go back up, they go down when you open, but dont close when you put the top back up
