Indy says replace the CGW module? need advise
My indy tells me that when he connects the STAR to the module for diagnosing the car, the connection brakes in the middle many times. He has to re start the whole process many times and still the process does not complete. Sometimes it does. Hence the behaviour is erratic.
He also tells me that it is not communicating to the instrument cluster properly. also it is not communicating to some other parts as well. My instrument cluster lights totally went of whilst driving once and then came back on. He tells me that i will have to replace the CGW Module. I find this a little difficult to believe. Have others also faced this problem? To my limited knowledge, replacing and re-programming the CGW module is not a joke and requires serious expertise. Could someone please help and guide?

very easy to code the CGW with DAS. It is about a 20 second process.
Connect the card to DAS, read coding, swap the CGW and transfer coding to new unit.
