Shifter box assembly removal instructions for SL55? (Stuck in park)
I am removing my entire trim prices to have them exchanged for carbon fiber pieces. I've noticed that my shifter sometimes is difficult to move out of park (it eventually does). While I have this all torn apart, I figured it would be a good time to swap out the plastic piece that always breaks inside the sifter box assembly for the new aluminium one to avoid ever getting stuck in park.
I thought the removal would be pretty easy and straight forward. However, it's pretty messy in here and I'm not sure what to do now.
Does anyone have any instructions on how to remove the shifter box assembly from the car?
