Hello Guys,
my 55k engine is smoking and its almost gone after around 170k km. I bought the car a year ago and it seems that it wasn't in a good condition.
Is it possible to put a 63 engine instead the 55k engine? and will it work properly with the same ECU and Transmission? or all of that should also be changed?

What objective are you trying to achieve when considering swapping to a 63 engine? It will probably cost more money and increase support and maintenance issues so will it be worth the trouble? If you are attracted to the 63 platform and drive train then consider fixing the 55, sell it and buying a 63. My $.02
