I'm hoping that someone with a 2013+ SL could do me a favor. I'm trying to find out if the dust boots/covers over the struts on the 2013+ are the same or similar to the older R230 (2003-2008) models.
Would someone who owns one, please take a picture of your dust cover or strut boot for me? My front two covers are in very rough shape as you can see and I'm looking for a replacement. Mercedes doesn't make this part for the R230 anymore and Arnott will not sell the boot/cover separately.
I've been told that the 2013+ SL's have the same or very similar designed strut and that the covers might be interchangeable. You can buy the strut boot/covers for the 2013+ SL's but you can't return them if they don't fit since they have to be ordered from Germany.
