Performance Pack
Was talking to a guy at Mercedes about tuning. On the old SL63 nat ***
it came at extra cost with a F1 performance pack. I asked why the spec
said 525 bhp and 0-60 in 4.7 secs. I told him that was what a standard
car pushed out, then he said it was for bigger brakes and suspension work.
I am sure it had more bhp as well. Does anyone know

In US, no Not any hp gain, all are 516hp Even the renntech and other ecu upgrades only add about 25hp max
But the euro version air filter boxes are different, more free flow and I thought all euro version cars were rated 525hp with or w/out perf

correct. all euro market versions are powered by 525 hp engines with or w/o P30 code. do not know what russia's standard is.
I believe extra 10hp come from better gasoline quality sold in europe.
