Extended warranty for SL63
I'm about to purchase an SL63 AMG and am looking for an Extended warranty. I called a few like Endurance and Warranty Direct and I couldn't find anyone who would cover the AMG models. I have found some other brands like Safe Drive who willl but they don't seem to be very well known or have great reviews.
Does anyone have any advice or experience with extended warranties for a soon-to-be newbie AMG owner?

1st, it doesnt sound like you are buying from a MB dealer, the MB CPO is the best one to get. My advise is for you to get the carfax, then take it to a MB dealer before you buy it and have a complete CPO inspection. This car could cost you thousands and thousands of dollars to fix if there is something wrong with it. Find a dealer you like and call one of the financial advisers and ask them if you bring in the car before you buy it, and have a cpo done, will they sell you the MB warrantee. It depends on the history of the car if they can warrantee it , Plus you can find out the MB service history and inspect it and know what you are in for.

That's very helpful. I was planning to have the local MB dealership give it a check but I didn't know there was a possibility to have it approved for CPO so very enlightening. Isn't CPO only for 12 months though? Also, the top end of the warranties I have seen (usually Platinum) are more extensive than the CPO coverage advertised on mbusa. Have I perhaps missed something (probably)? I'm looking for a 3-4 year extended warranty.
