SL55 wheels fitment

I'm wondering if someone could give me some guidance. I have an 06 SL55 with the factory 18" turbine wheels. I want to replacement them with another set of 18" wheels. The new wheel size are 18x 8.5 fronts and 18x19.5 rear -- wheel off set is 35mm. It seems to be the right fit but I'm concern that it might not clear the front brake calibers. I can't try them because I have to order and have them ship in. Can anyone help me verify if these wheels would work and/or anything I can do to find out more on fitment?

I was told if they don't fit I can use spacers -- but I'm not sure what size spacer I would need and also I'm not a fond of spacers I don't feel as safe with them especially on the front wheels where most of my braking and steering are at.

Completely matters on the spoke design, and the backside of the spoke design. I run 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 in 35mm on my 65 with the extra large brakes. Tons of clearance since the spokes fan "outward". If the design makes the spokes go inward (having more rim lip), then it may be a problem. Post a pic or link of the wheels you're looking at?

I ended up making templates of my brakes (and posted them on this site) to send to the wheel seller. It was definitely an interesting task trying to re-create in CAD the outside brake profile by using a set of hand calipers and scales.

I had the seller print out my templates, open up the boxes, and check the internal caliper clearance for me of the new wheels. Super awesome that the customer service rep was willing to do this for me and confirm before purchasing.

For reference, stock SL65 wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with 30mm and 31mm offsets.

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
its the wheel profile you have to determine to know if the brakes clear, Are you saying they are amg wheels?
