Aux. Battery fix?
Has anyone come up with a fix for the battery that's always running down within 4 - 5 days??
What a pain in the A$$ !!!

I think you might have a specific problem with either the battery or the charging circuit. It should not run down in as little as 4 - 5 days. My consumer battery used to run down in about 2 to 3 weeks if the car was unused. I have recently bought a small top-up trickle charger specifically designed to remain connected to the battery and keep it fully charged. Works well.

I endorse what Paul has just posted.
After 3 weeks the 'Consumers Offline' warning comes up but a ten minute drive will put the warning light out. I have a trickle charger now and no more problems.

I had a different warning come up after a fairly long period of not having driven. It was a "Visit Workshop" with a battery symbol in red. After a lovely drive in the bright winter sunshine it has disappered.
I assume this is the same thing, the aux battery.
