SL55, 8 Pistons Deform, WHYYY??!!
How can 8 pistons deform? What are the reasons of this!!!!! Check the videos.
The car didn't overheat, and oil level was checked the same day the engine smoked a hell of white smoke, it was Ok!

Your vids arent working on my Mac.
Did you have a mechanic go through the engine before install? If the pistons shrank, then excessive heat is the culprit. I've seen Ford 5.0 stock pistons shrink from too much nitrous.

You mentioned white smoke so like I said in a previous post you may have had a head gasket failure resulting in fluid in the combustion chamber. Water is a non-compressible fluid so something has got to give......in your case it looks life the pistons are what gave. I've only had a head gasket failure once and it was while running on a hot day........all the coolant immediately evaporated and went out the tail pipe as a large white steam cloud. If you had leakage into the combustion chamber while cold and you started up the next day, you might as well have steel shot sitting on top of your pistons. The water will bend or break anything just the same.
Sorry to hear this my friend....you were my inspiration to do a coil over conversion on my SL600. Sad to see you are sidelined with mechanical issues.

It looks like it was overheating that lead to the pistons failure, although I was sure that the instrument cluster was still at 80 degrees Celsius the moment it started shaking and then smoking. Probably the instrument cluster was giving wrong indication, will have to check it as well before I drive the car after replacing the engine once again in less than 2 months.
The car is stock, usually when it overheats the performance reduces a lot, this time the car was fine no drop in performance until I saw the smoke I parked aside and it started shaking and white smoke came out, the whole 8 pistons are no longer in a good condition.

time for a new engine.
this time take it to a reputable shop. seems like you replaced the engine not to long ago.
