Lowering links: More catastrophic if ABC fails?

Hello

Very concerned with this situation. I've had some ABC problems in the past where a shock will lower itself completely (almost touching tire) and say "Car too low! Get the hell out!".

This hasn't happened in a little while and I'm wondering if I had lowering links on the car, and this were to happen again, would the car lower even further than before? Meaning, would I be driving and the car had a malfuntion - would I get some GT fenders by accident? Or is there a set limit that the car wont go past no matter what?

Thank you for any and all help!

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
the shock is going to drop to its max limit, no matter how the cars leveling is set, the stock link or different link or module wouldnt have any effect on it
