Picked up my new sl55 yesterday and twice today the ABC light came in in red saying drive carefully. Fluid is at proper level. I had replaced the entire system in my previous sl500 so im familiar enough with the system in that regards. From my research it seems to be either a faulty sensor or faulty accumulator (the rear accumulator failed the bounce test when i tried it out). I wont have access to a star tool for a bit and will be parking the car for a few weeks as of next week. Any insight into this would be appreciated. No leaks on any lines, valveblock, strut etc. and no sagging at all. Light flashes for a second and goes off, no malfunctions in the dash display. Help me out guys!

Sounds like you are pretty familiar with the ABC gremlins. The only thing I might add is that occasionally when the hyd pump starts to fail, they will intermittently produce enough pressure to make the system happy and other times not. I had this happen on my SL.Originally Posted by spartan7669

Do all the accumulators while you're at it
front one was replaced 2 months ago by previous owner, supplied with paperwork.
