A very odd ABC issue help

So my cars been fine up until today..

Got in the car, ready to raise it so i can get off my drive way. And nothing happened. No lights on the buttons and there completely dead.

A sign came up on the dash in blue saying "abc display faulty"

Now i had my interior trim re done. Could it have been caused by me flicking the ignition while the buttons were unplugged.

i tried everything, even removing the battery terminals, still nothing. The button seem to not do anything. Please help.

Wish I could help. I am sure you already checked fuses. Not sure if it would help, but if it were my car I would consider disconnecting the main battery for a few minutes and reconnect. It might do nothing but won't hurt anything except you will have to reset your ESP. That is easily done by turning the steering wheel lock to lock once or twice. Seems to me the rear windows have to be synced as well. I know both issues are discussed in the manual under replacing battery.

Actually, if it were my car, I would read codes with my Xentry DAS system. Do you know anyone with a system that can pull codes from your obdII port? The cheap little readers probably would not report the code, but might. Xentry DAS is pretty much a clone of the MB Star diagnosis system.
