I'm confused. This is available for sale on their website as a complete package. Is this still not ready for sale? You're saying you still don't have the full kit?

For the V12 it has not been complete for 2 years. The V8 sway bar will not fit the V12 cars. Also the regular power steering pump will not work on V12 cars. I had to loop my tandum pump.
Zebra was providing his car to test fit the V12 bar. Idk where the progress on that is atm. But to answer your question no the V12 kit is not complete and should not be advertised as such.

VVK Kit Almost Complete
Hey guys just wanted to update you guys on the status of my 2003 SL500. I ordered the kit in November of 2017 and got the complete kit delivered around mid January 2018. Shout out to Sean from VVK for doing an amazing job on the design of this kit.
I live in Southern California so finding a shop to take on the conversion was a little bit hard. PK Auto design in Sylmar, CA were the ones to tackle this conversion for me and let me tell you Paul and his crew are standup guys who know what they are doing. They are true car enthusiasts and will take the utmost care for your car. PK Auto Design specializes in wheels and tires so check em out at PKautodes********.
So with this conversion I decided to also change motor mounts, transmission mount, drive shaft flex disk, and also added an axle back exhaust system by Top Speed Pro 1. The conversion is definitely a two day job or more depending on how smoothly everything goes.
Both front and rear sub frames were dropped and all the ABC lines were pulled out with the valve blocks and dampeners. Also changed the tandem pump to a standard power steering pump and used a reservoir from a 2002 SL500 since they run the same M113 engine. The car should be finished tomorrow and ready to pick up. I will post another review of how the car feels on the setup with pictures.

oh my god! I know Paul! They helped me out with my CLA. I am in the Valley with my Sl55 Amg. If you would be interested sometime, message me and we can meet up! I’d love to look at the coilovers in person

I am also waiting for information about SL 65 AMG fully complete set.
When all will fine I think that one set will be mine
Is there anyone who know how much weight we reduce when install that non-abc kit ?

4 519 lbs - thats the weight of my 06 SL65 AMG.
When I will install new coilovers kit it will be 4370 lbs.
I can't imagine how we can do 4000 lbs, maybe converstion to coupe from cabrio ?
I think that roof and all his parts have a lot of weight, but I never seen that someone go in that side.
I am not sure that PRIOR Black series kit can lose some weight, maybe yes becouse it was created from laminate, it can be curious.
Inside we can change original seats for similar to original EU Black series. Stock seats are really heavy becouse it has integrated seat belts.
Any others ideas ?

If you really want to turn it into a race car, the number one weight issue is the convertible motor and all the stuff with it. Remove all of that, weld the roof to the body, replace the stock seats with something like racing seats and get lighter rotors, forged wheels, throw all the ABC stuff away in favor of the coilovers and i'd say you'd be very close to 4000lbs. But if you're a heavy set fella then god can't help you there lol.

Got a reply from strutmasters:
What happens if I follow their advice, is it ok if I just dont install the sway bars? Anyone doing this?
I do not have any information relating to sway bars. Some customer have previously called in saying that their mechanics have told them to add sway bars when converting but the conversion kit does not require sway bars and works perfect without them.

You NEED sway bars with coilovers, period, or else your car is gonna ride like trash. Imagine a 98 cadillac with blown shocks, that's what it's going to feel like. Will it run, yes, will it handle well and be safe? Absolutely not, our cars weighing so much doesn't help either.

My coilover conversion is finished and the sway bars are in. Sean is fixing my brakes and hopefully I will pick the car up in a week or so. Will keep you posted.

Please post some pics of the sway bar mounts if you can, i'm curious as to which part of the body the mounts/brackets will be attached to. Which endlinks did they use for sway bars? I heard you can use ML350 endlinks for it.

Will ask Sean, if he has any. They put all under trays back and the car sits pretty low now. Sean also told me that I don't need any end links if the car will stay lowered like that, only need them if I decide to raise it up.
