Hey guys, I bought these beautiful wheels from a member whose father had just bought a 2015 S Class Sport. The wheels were immediately removed and replaced with HREs. Not my cup of tea but whatever.
The member assured me these would fit my SL, so I snatched them up. Thought they would look great on my Pewter R230. Well, come to find out, they will fit, but not straight bolt on. Spacers and longer lug bolts will be needed for a proper fit. If I knew more about fitting wheels with spacers or had a great wheel shop around like GMP Performance, I would fit them to my car, but I don't. Michael at GMP performance (MBW vendor) was very accommodating to my many uninformed questions. He even explained that done right, these wheels on an R230 could create a very aggressive stance and make the car appear to be lowered. I know he would be happy to work with anyone interested in fitting these wheels to their R230.
