Hard choice.

I have 20 inch rims on my 63, and spacers. My wheels are one piece Niche
and are very strong, I have been down a few potholes and they are still
perfect. However after Thericker told me to get rid of my spacers and my
20 inch rims will loose power, plus the indifferent ride, I decided to buy 19 inch rims. The problem is my car looks great and I am worried it will
look naff on 19's . I can't use 19 Niche without spacers, but I like their
strength and looks. Lastly some makes of wheel which won't need spacers
are 3 piece and look more delicate and are over 5 grand, whereas the Niche
will be under 2 grand inc tyres. I love the look, but hate the ride, decisions
decisions... Thericker car looks great but I don't like the 18 inch rims, but
I bet it's comfortable and quick.

I like the look of 20 front 21 rear, and power is excessive enough to run over most anything on the road. Chip upgrade helps too. Good luck choosing. I think the Niche look nice. I did ADV.1, mucho expensive, but Niche look real nice for bang for the buck.

Wheels with lips "look" smaller, vs. wheels where the spokes go all the way to the edge makes the wheel look bigger.

That said, wheels with lips traditionally look better, unless you go with something fancy and concave.

Do a search on ebay.Com and search for spdv6. There are some really nice custom forged wheels you can get for less than $4k. Yes, big wheels do cost power but are you going for looks or going for speed? The stock naturally aspirated V8 SL63 is not very fast so you must be going for looks. Keep the 20's if you like them but get some where you don't need huge spacers.

Hi because the 63 is less powerful than the bi turbo all the reason not to
loose even more. Also I am sure I would use it more if the ride was better.
Better ride and more power = 19 inch rims, against not so good looking, it
is a hard decision.
