Tire size we can run on 19" wheels
I was thinking to go with 305 in the back. Is that fine without any wheel spacers? Anyone else running 305+ on the stock wheels?

two problems: watch the inner tire to strut clearance
and more importantly, look at the "recommended wheel" specs of the tire manufacturer for that size tire. I don't think there's any mfr's out there that will go higher than 285 on a 9.5" wide wheel

Try this, you can input tire size and it gives you recommended wheel width. In this case 305 30 19 suggests 10.5" - 11.5" wheel.

Even with 295s in the rear you can have rubbing if there is any heavy compression on bumps and the car is lowered. Additionally, the back end will wiggle on acceleration even with 295s. Handling and performance actually diminishes, so I wouldn't go with 305s. I went back to the 285s and am much happier now.
