sl55 widebody - built viper - ls1 turbo 350z
2 sc belts shredded in 2 days. Input?
Whats up guys, shredded 2 belts in 2 days with my new setup. Checked eveything prior, no wobble, tensioner is good, bearings are fine. Yesterday belt shredded (but did no damage surprisingly). Today installed new belt, triple checked everything. Did 1 wot pull and my belt shredded and took out both the beltwrap idler pulley and the plastic idler behind the sc metal one.

77mm eurocharged fixed sc pulley
Belt wrap kit
Gates k080525 belt
Stock crank pulley

Ordering an asp billet idler set tomorrow.

Any insight? Shardul please chime in!

One of your idler pullies probably locked up. It the center looks melted, that's your culprit.
