2007 SL65 Intercooler pump change out
Is this job very hard? Its not by the passenger front tire like on earlier models. It on the right behind the bumper. Mercedes is quoting $300 to install the pump I bought.
Thanks.
Thanks.

For $300, I would let them do it. You will have to remove the front bumper, clamp the system (or drain it), refill and vent.
It seems like you haven't taken the front bumper off before, so it will likely take you 5-6 hours to complete. It all depends on how much you charge by the hour and how lazy you are. I know for 300 I would be lazy.
What I puzzled by is that if this is an authorized MB dealer, that you can get them to install your own parts. Is the pump org. MB or OEM. Here they don't touch parts unless that are original and still in the box.

They will install anything you hand them, except they will provide no warranty and only provide the car working when they hand it back.
But for just a pump? You'll be fine.
