I think it's about time MB designed a supercar to look like a supercar.
Even black series which I love doesn't have that aggressive space craft
look. It's time to stop pleasing fat old geezers like me, and let rip on the looks, the old generations will still buy the SL as it is.

Absolutely agree...why not life is short and tomorrow is never guaranteed.....
Yes they should, and why not, they should just go all the way ***** to the wall, upward swinging doors...wider than even an aventador and even more aggressive looking if they can....They already have the technology now for it.....they could very easily take the engine from the GT-S and upgrade the internals further, bigger turbos,...make them ceramic electric-driven turbo's with a supercharger on top also....make the DCT trans even faster...add a hybrid electric setup like the new NSX also.....even without 200 HP added because of the batteries they could easily push over 800 or 900 horsepower no problem....they could easily end up with a Koenigsegg One:1 level of power....1,400 or more....and obviously all wheel drive for safety and traction....push the interior also to the limit like their new concept show car's interior...all bad *** OLED screens, holographic this and that....4 wheels steering also...carbon brakes and carbon wheels too....carbo-titanium construction...the car could top out with all fluids at a Ferrari LaFerrari beating 2,500 Lb's if they really wanted to....they could have a kick *** car with a 0 to 60 in the 1.5 second range and a 1/4 mile in the high 6 second range...top speed equal or better to the new Bugatti Chiron coming out next year.....would be as fast or faster than any street legal car to run the 'Ring....but they are very conservative....maybe they dial things down at the last minute because they think some customers might kill themselves in a ***** to the wall type of all out hypercar....every time I upgrade my old SL 55 AMG I realize this is the way it should've come from the factory in the first place.....anyways...maybe it could happen one day but not likely.....
