Engine bay ABC hose part number?

I'm trying to figure out the part number for an ABC hose on my 03 sl55. This hose passes through the engine bay, between the radiator/cooling fan and engine, the full width of the engine.
It is at the very bottom and rests above the splash shield. I will try to get a picture. Looking to replace due to seepage around the crimp fitting on one end.
I have looked through the parts diagrams in epc but found it very confusing, none of the lines looked quite like what I need to replace. Im not certain but I think it is for the right front strut.

Diagram attached
Thinking it is #60, 2309976682 but I don't even see a hose running along side it from the top of the engine bay?

That looks like you have the right number. Those hoses are almost obscured by the fan shroud when viewed from above, so that might explain why it appears different to you.

While I don't think it applies to this particular hose on the 2003 SL55, I have found other ABC hoses used on the 2003 R230 look a little different in the EPC because they have been updated (longer or shorter flexible sections) while still being backward compatible to the 2003 application

this hose is only $175 from OEdiscountparts.com
http://www.oediscountparts.com/parts...&siteid=215242
(.... some of the other ABC hoses on this car wholesale for nearly $400 ! )

as an alternative, your local parker store could probably rebuild this hose for you for less than $80

Cheers,
Chris

Thanks Chris! I took a better look when I got home from work today and saw the other hose buried under the fan. Trying to decide if I want to replace the whole line or segment a new hose section with hydraulic compression fittings so I don't have to disassemble the car. The new line price is much less than I thought it would be.
