Hey guys so a while back my alternator went out and left me stranded, I replaced it and all was fine for a while till I started smelling some burnt electrical smell. after some digging and sniffing around i found a blade fuse junction box with all kinds of fried and melted wires, car drove/drives great but something is waaay wrong. I am going to replace this box. I believe that perhaps when my alternator took a dump it lost all voltage regulation and thus the melt down. I have ordered the new part but it will not get here for a couple weeks, my question is this. Does anyone have a diagram of what blade fuses go in this thing? it holds 6 all are fine except the one that melted so i dont know what to replace it with till my new one comes in. I need to drive the car. Thanks!!
before anyone starts with the whole "just wait for the new part ,you will mess up your car etc."
i will clean up the part and resolder/replace any bad wires, it will just be ugly, but will work till the new one arrrives, its just to get me by.
I am hoping some one knows what the melted blade fuse was, 40, 80, 200, etc.
